In an upcoming series of ODIs and Twenty20s, India and West Indies will square off. During the West Indies’ tour of India in 2022, India and West Indies will play three ODIs and three T20Is.
The ODI series between India and WI will be played first before the T20I series. The three ODIs will be played on February 6, 9, and 11. All ODIs are played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Three Twenty20 internationals will be played on February 16, 18, and 20. Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata is the venue for all T20I matches.
West Indies tour of India
Kieron Pollard will lead the team of the West Indies, while Rohit Sharma will lead the team of India. The West Indies have taken part in 144 T20 internationals, winning 62, losing 70, tying 3, and going 9 without a win. At this point, the Indian team has played 145 T20 internationals and won 89 games, lost 49, tied 3, and went 4 without winning.
India and West Indies have fought 17 times in T20I, with India winning 10 times, West Indies 6 times, and one match going to a draw. The winning percentage of India in T20Is against each other is higher, but the Indian team will not take the Windies lightly as they have already won the T20 World Cup twice.
