Mashal Sports, organizers of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League, have announced the first half of Season 8 on December 22nd, 2021, at 7:30 PM. The entire season will occur at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre without spectators. To know more about Vivo Pro Kabaddi Schedule and Venue Keep continue reading.
As a particular format for PKL Season 8, Mashal has scheduled ‘Triple Headers’ on the first four days to give kabaddi fans across the country the chance to catch their favorite team in action from the very beginning of the League.
In the tournament opener, U Mumba will face Bengaluru Bulls. It will then be the ‘Southern Derby’ as Telugu Titans take on Tamil Thalaivas in the second match, and UP Yoddha meets Bengal Warriors in the last game of the opening day.
In addition to blockbuster matches and edge-of-the-seat action, this season will feature a Triple Panga every Saturday throughout the tournament, ensuring that kabaddi enthusiasts receive their fair share of ‘Thigh-Five’ entertainment.
It will raise the excitement for the season’s weekends and keep fans hooked on the action, as the contending teams focus on their first-quarter schedules to establish advantages over their competitors. PKL Teams will also assess and rebuild their competition strategies for the second half of the season once mid-January releases the second part of the schedule.
Speaking about VIVO Pro Kabaddi Schedule and Venue
Anupam Goswami, CEO, Mashal Sports, and League Commissioner, Vivo Pro Kabaddi League, stated, “The Vivo Pro Kabaddi League is known for reinvigorating and popularizing India’s sport of kabaddi, and with the new format, we aim to continue reinventing the sport. Teams will strategize better if the schedule is released in two halves. The triple headers and “Triple Panga” will give fans more chances to watch their favorite players and teams in action as they compete for the coveted title.”
Mashal Sports will convert the entire venue at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre into a single integrated and secure bio-bubble for the players’ safety and health. In this unique arrangement, all 12 teams will stay and play at the same venue while Mashal Sports adheres to the safety protocols set by the authorities.
