Asia Cup Super 4 matches of 2022 will begin today in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
A total of four teams have made it to the last-four stage – India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. India topped Group A (A1), while Afghanistan topped Group B (B2). After beating Bangladesh by two wickets on Thursday in Dubai, Sri Lanka qualified for the Super 4.
With a massive 155-run win over Hong Kong on Friday in Sharjah, Pakistan became the last team in the last four.

Super 4, High voltage Competition
India has reached the Super 4 after winning both of their group stage matches. On 4 September, Team India will face arch-rival Pakistan for the first time. In preparation for this high-Voltage match, Virat Kohli has been training in a spell style. After a month’s break, Kohli returns to the Asia Cup. He requested rest from the selectors after the England tour. Kohli scored a half-century against Hong Kong after returning to the Asia Cup and scoring 35 runs in the run chase against Pakistan.
Pakistan is India’s first opponent in Super 4, followed by Sri Lanka on 6 September and Afghanistan on 8 August. The chances of India reaching the final will increase if they win two out of three matches. On 11 September, the final of the tournament will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
